The first step of the project was initiated by Aksaray University (ASU) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in order to increase the quality of bovine animals and it was carried out in cooperation with the Konya Plain Project (KOP) Regional Development Administration.
In the Yenikent Village, embryo transfer was performed to an animal belonging to Bekir Kayan, the President of the Cattle Breeders Association (DSYB). ASU Faculty Member of Veterinary Faculty Assoc. The project has distinctive features such as being operational and site-based. Within the scope of the project, embryos taken from high quality animals are transferred to another animal and genetically better productive breeds are obtained. In this way, the number of genetically high animals and consequently meat and milk yields are increased. Aksaray Governor Ali ravioli, in Turkey, stating that for the first time in Aksaray made public except for embryo transfer, the city of this study and to improve the quality of livestock in the country, he said.
